100. Once I start something, I finish it.

Like this never-fucking-ending 100 facts thing.  I was sick of it after like 20, but I didn’t want to quit because I am not generally one of those people who starts a million things and never finishes.  It’s all about the follow-through, people.  But okay, that was a lame fact to end on, so here’s another (equally lame) one:  the three people I call “snowflake” on here are the three people I know in real life who follow me; no one else I know even knows I have a blog (and I do not plan on telling them).

99. I have a favorite commercial.

I know, I know.  I’m weird.  But it’s that am/pm commercial from the late 90s/early 00s where there’s a guy in workout clothes sitting on a curb stuffing his face.  I think his name is Tom.  His girlfriend/wife comes by and she’s like “I thought you were going for a jog.”  And he looks at her and goes “I GOT HOT!”  And she’s like “after three blocks?”

98. I’m right-handed but left-most-other-things.

In gymnastics I did everything on the left (left turns, left leg splits/leaps were better, left cartwheels, led with my left leg on back/front walkovers, etc.).  I cross my left leg over my right and I cross my left arm over my right.  I wear my purse on my left shoulder, my tattoo is on the left side of me, and when I’m wearing a watch or bracelets they’re always on the left.

97. I like wearing patterned socks.

Polka dots, stripes, argyle, flowers, etc.

96. I’d rather be practically dying of hypothermia than be the tiniest bit too warm.

(I was thinking about Phoebe’s decision-making game.  My answers to her other questions:  I prefer peanut butter to egg whites, I’d rather be a swimmer than a fireman [firewoman], I’d rather sleep with Monica than Rachel, I like men’s ties more than ascots, and I’d rather go north than south.)

95. I’m ridiculously terrible at math.

It’s quite appalling.  On the SATs, for instance, I did 150 points better in the verbal section than the math section.

94. I’m awful at comforting people.

I think because I’m the least touchy-feely person I know.  So it’s not natural for me to hug someone or put my arm around them.  I feel super weird about it.

93. I’ve never been that scared by (or had nightmares about) a horror/suspense movie, but E.T. seriously traumatized me.

 For months and months.

Always.

91. I rarely get sick.

I get a cold once every couple years, but that’s about it.  In high school I think I stayed home sick once.  And in college and law school I never skipped class due to illness.

88. I was in a sorority in college.

A lot of people have been shocked when they hear this fact.  But I have no regrets; it was fun and a lot different than most Greek systems.

87. In kindergarten I refused to wear anything except dresses and skirts.

Which is weird because ever since like 5th grade, I’ve hated wearing dresses and skirts because they require too much effort in the morning and too much effort throughout the day.

86. I never make my bed.

Except when I was living in a studio apartment and I invited people over.  Sometimes not even then.
